We are committed to assisting Chicagoland rescues maximize their ability to save cats and kittens from, often overcrowded, open access shelters. While our primary goal is to get all cats into their forever home, healthy, happy and thriving. Our secondary goal is to selfishly love on them every minute we can until they leave us for that forever home.

How It All Started

Our cat rescue journey began in 2016 when we decided to foster three kittens from PAWS Chicago. We loved every minute of it. We quickly discovered how rewarding it feels to care for cats when they’re the most vulnerable & help them grow & move on to their forever home! However, fostering has also opened our eyes to a big problem. Cat overpopulation. There are WAY more cats than there are homes for them. With this being said, TNR, spay/neuter of house cats & finding cats caring adoptive homes that won’t breed them or let them outside became important to us.

We’ve become experienced with cats & kittens of all ages from orphaned, bottle dependent kittens requiring around the clock care to seniors who just want a comfy bed.

Currently, all of our foster cats are through Catnap from the Heart in Lagrange, IL. They rescue many cats from Chicago Animal Care & Control on 26th and Western, some owner surrenders, TNR colony cats and much more. They’ve been the base for our efforts and provide all vet care.
